The Philippines is among the world’s largest contributors to ocean plastic. At Omega, we're turning the tide by building a national Core–Hub–Node system that empowers island communities to lead the change from the ground up.
How We Operate in the Philippines
Our framework brings structure and scale to local action:
- Core: Central data, processing & logistics hub (Metro Manila)
- Hubs: Strategic community support zones in Cebu, Davao, and Tondo
- Nodes: Dozens of active micro-sites in fishing villages, schools, and coastline areas
This interconnected system makes it possible to target the worst waste zones while training and equipping local champions.
